 Mindfulness practice improves young people wellbeing and self-esteem  and bring about greater calmness therefore reducing reactivity, anxiety and distress (Miners, 2008).
Research has shown that Mindfulness practice improves academic performance and social skills (Beauchemin, Hutchins and Patterson, 2008).
